Luísa Reis is a Senior Investment Associate at Siguler Guff and supports the Firm's emerging markets funds.
Prior to joining Siguler Guff's São Paulo office in 2020, Ms. Reis was a member of the legal team within Banco Modal’s Funds Administration Division. In this role, she worked with Brazilian receivables funds on credit rights acquisitions and with local private equity funds on corporate transactions.
Previously, Ms. Reis worked at BNY Mellon in the Capital Markets Division as a corporate transactional and investment funds lawyer, where she advised private equity fund sponsors on their fund offerings and operations, as well as on certain investment transactions and regulatory matters.
Education
Ms. Reis holds an LL.B. in Law from Universidade Candido Mendes, as well as an LL.M. in Corporate Law and Capital Market from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV.
