Nestor Weigand is a Managing Director at Siguler Guff. Based in London, Mr. Weigand is a member of the Firm's distressed real estate investment team with a primary focus on European opportunities. He is responsible for identifying and performing due diligence on prospective real estate managers globally, structuring both direct transactions and fund investments with operating partners, and managing the Firm's existing real estate investments.
Prior to joining Siguler Guff in 2009, Mr. Weigand was an Associate Portfolio Manager at Citigroup Property Investors, where he co-managed a $1.7 billion portfolio of 49 interests in real estate private equity vehicles through two fund-of-funds products and the Citigroup Pension Plan. Prior to Citigroup, Mr. Weigand was Vice President of Business Development at Cityfeet.com, a leading internet site for commercial real estate availabilities. Mr. Weigand also spent two years as an Analyst in the Consulting Group of CB Richard Ellis, where he focused primarily on office leasing in New York City.
Mr. Weigand holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
