Ilomai Kurrik is a Principal at Siguler Guff and a member of the Firm’s legal and compliance team. Ms. Kurrik provides legal counsel to Siguler Guff in connection with fund offerings, governance and regulatory issues, primary and secondary fund investments, direct investments, and co-investments.
Ms. Kurrik has worked as a private equity lawyer since 2002 and has advised on a broad range of corporate transactional and private fund matters. Throughout her legal career, she has advised sponsors of private equity funds on their fund offerings and operations, as well as institutional investors investing in private equity funds. Ms. Kurrik has also provided U.S. regulatory advice to fund managers globally and counseled investment advisers on numerous corporate transactions, including direct and secondary M&A deals, fund financings and fund restructurings. Prior to joining Siguler Guff in 2015, Ms. Kurrik was a Senior Associate in the Private Funds Group at Clifford Chance US LLP, where she worked in both New York and London. Previously, she was a Senior Associate in the Private Funds Group at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York. She began her legal career in the Private Equity/Investment Management Group of Dewey Ballantine LLP in New York.
Ms. Kurrik holds an A.B. from Barnard College of Columbia University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
